We aim to be a "company that shines brightly."
Company Policies
We have created a sustainable business model in order to become a business that contributes to society.
Tanaka Co., Ltd. was established in 1953 and is a manufacturer that provides textile materials for civil engineering work, mainly used for rivers, and a variety of industrial textile materials both domestically and internationally.
As a leading company in textile materials for river civil engineering work, we contribute to disaster prevention and mitigation by stably supplying materials nationwide that contribute to controlling river flooding caused by typhoons and emergency measures and restoration of damaged areas. In addition, by providing products made from recycled raw materials and environmentally friendly palm fiber, we are responding to climate change and social changes and contributing to the reduction of CO2.
In 2020, we were commissioned by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) to carry out a project feasibility study in Cambodia, and were certified as a "JICA-SDGs Partner", working to create a business model for the realization of a sustainable society. In addition, in the same year, we became a member of the Kyowa Concrete Industry Group, which provided us with the opportunity to make great strides by taking advantage of the group's high technological capabilities, 100 manufacturing bases nationwide, 50 sales bases, and network with business partners.
We embody the philosophies of "contributing to society by creating a safe and secure natural environment and a comfortable living environment," "manufacturing products that are environmentally friendly," and "bringing joy and abundance to everyone involved with Tanaka." At the same time, we value "compassion and teamwork" and are constantly working on "challenge and evolution." We will continue to "challenge and evolve" by never thinking that "the current way of doing things is best", but by making efforts to incorporate new information and knowledge, clarifying things, and actively thinking deeply about them.
