Tanaka will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2022, the year before last, and we have decided to compile an anniversary history titled "Tanaka's Progress," which is probably the first time for our company. On this auspicious occasion, we wanted to look back on our company's history as much as possible, learn from the past and discover the path that our previous managers and predecessors have walked, and use this as a chance to explore our future path. We believe this will give us even more pride in the company. We also believe that this is the duty of those who work at Tanaka now that we have reached the 100-year milestone.

If you look at this "Tanaka's History," you will see that since our founding, our company has changed its business from commerce to manufacturing, changed its industry from food to textiles, changed its main product from textiles to nonwoven fabrics, and changed its business model from a contract manufacturer to a manufacturer with its own brand. You will also see that our company has overcome many major hardships, such as factory fires, made significant contributions for many years to the recovery and reconstruction of various parts of Japan that have been hit by disasters from heavy rains and earthquakes, and provided the materials necessary for major national construction projects such as international airports and bullet trains. Perhaps the world is calling on us, who work at Tanaka today, to change ourselves greatly in response to the demands of the ever-changing times, overcome great hardships, and contribute to society. We hope that this "Tanaka's History" will be an opportunity for people around the world to get to know Tanaka more deeply, and that it will be of some help to those who work at Tanaka now and those who will work at Tanaka in the future.
