Students from Izumiotsu City Asahi Elementary School visited this year as well

Sixth grade students from Asahi Elementary School in Izumiotsu City, Osaka Prefecture, visited our company again this year, and through a factory tour and lecture, they learned about our contribution to the SDGs through our business activities.

We use recycled fibers and naturally derived fibers with low environmental impact as raw materials, and our products have been used for many years in disaster prevention and mitigation efforts across the country. Furthermore, we are working to expand our business to utilize our track record, technology, and know-how overseas. A 6th grade class of approximately 10 students from Asahi Municipal Elementary School recently visited our company, and through a factory tour and lecture, they learned about our contribution to the SDGs through our business activities.

Asahi Elementary School is working on learning about SDGs as a pillar of their comprehensive learning time, so we received this request again. This was the first time that the company had been toured the company due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the students were able to see and hear the company's business activities and contributions to society in a safe and secure environment. It is a great pleasure for us to be able to experience this. (Implemented on September 19, 2023)

Tanaka will continue to contribute to solving various social issues through our company's business activities.
