2019 (2019) Typhoon No.19

On October 12, 2019, the large and strong typhoon No. 19, which made landfall on the Izu Peninsula, is also known as the East Japan Typhoon. As the typhoon approached and passed, record-breaking heavy rain fell in Shizuoka Prefecture, Kanto-Koshinetsu, and the Tohoku region, resulting in numerous floods. In addition to a series of damage caused by flooding of first-class rivers and inland waters, landslides also occurred in various places, causing severe damage.
Our company supplied the largest number of sheets to the emergency restoration work of a nationally managed river embankment that collapsed due to Typhoon No. 19.
